choirIvan Artolli for Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo speaks with Chung-Tao Hsieh

At Villegiature Awards last event in autumn 2019, Ivan Artolli – the Managing Director of iconic Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo talked with Chung-Tao Hsieh about his hotel and also about Monte-Carlo Bay hotel. Both hotels belong to the principality of Monaco group « Société des Bains de Mer » and both are nominated at 2019 Villegiature Awards. Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo is nominated in 2 categories : « Best Hotel interior design and architecture » with a complete refurbishment led by star architect Richard Martinet who heads the Affine Design studio. The full refurbishment costed more than 280 millions €, the architect added 6000m² to the previous surface and two mega suites. Richard Martinet won already the award in 2018 with the Hotel de Crillon in Paris. The hotel is also nominated for Grand Prize of Best Hotel in Europe.
The Monte-Carlo Bay hotel is nominated in Best Hotel swimming pool for its unique exterior lagoon. This pool is characterized by its pavement made of sand.

Chung-Tao Hsieh

Has just published a book in Chinese distributed in Taiwan on the French gastronomy «Les Restaurants étoilés selon Chung-Tao”, Mook Publishing. Chung Tao continues his collaboration with Conde Nast Travelers on the disctrict of “Le Marais” in Paris as well as a report on the Parisian luxury hotels. He drafts the gastronomic column “Michelin Gourmet” in the monthly magazine Traveler-Luxe and the paper for “La Revue du Vin de France”. He works at present with “Travel Channel Asia” for a series of broadcasts “Art de Vivre à la française”. Chung-Tao Hsieh is listed in the prestigious "Who's Who Wine & Spirit".
