More than 6000 pieces of art make up Le Negresco\u2019s magnificent collection, which makes it the hotel with the most artwork in the world.<\/p>\n<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2980 lazy\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.villegiaturemag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/405\/2017\/01\/NEGRESCOEXT1.jpg\" alt=\"NEGRESCOEXT\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/>\n<p>1913 Art Deco building dominates a corner of the famous Promenade des Anglais, overlooking a private beach near Old Town.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le Negresco is the life&#8217;s work of Jeanne Augier, determined to create the most spectacular hotel on the planet, beyond any fashion or trend. So much so that even <strong>Bill Gates,<\/strong> fascinated by the eclectic universe of the emblematic hotel, wanted to buy it. How much do you want for it? Asked the businessman and philanthropist. &#8220;I&#8217;m sorry, you&#8217;re not rich enough&#8221; \u2013 was the answer of the &#8220;lady of Le Negresco\u201d<\/p>\n<a
